Postby cruisinlows10 » Thu Feb 17, 2005 12:23 am

I'm putting a 350 in and i'm going to use one of those stainless overflow tanks. Will a 2 inch by 15 inch one be big enough. and also, does anybody know what side of the radiator the overflow is on the 85-89 vette radiators is?

cool, so about the size, will the 2x15 be big enough. I think it holds 20 ounces or so.

Sense we are on this subject, does anybody know where I can get some decent looking small tanks for holding fluids? I am looking at cleaning up underhood of my truck and would like to find some containers to replace the fugly factory containers (overflow and window wash). I was looking at using spent small fire extingisher bottles as I have take those apart before and used the tanks for various uses, if I could find something like that (or even that exactly) it would be great.

As you can guess sense I am thinking of using small fire extinguisher bottles I want to do this cheap. I would need 5 total if using fire extinguisher sized bottles (two for overflow, two for main washer fluid and one for my headlight washers) and hope to spend less than 15-20 total.

TIA, sorry for whoring, just seemed like a good place.
