Air intake ideas?

Postby ooooooo » Fri Aug 18, 2017 1:03 pm

I bought a 1993 V8 Sonoma (2005 6.0 LQ4 from Yukon Denali) a little while ago and it needs a little refinement. The air intake was pieced together and even had duct tape and electrical tape holding it/sealing it. Not totally ghetto but it was kinda falling apart.

Anyway I'm looking for other ideas. One problem is the radiator hose is high, should I try to run that lower? This pipe went to pass side and the filter gets close to the battery, could shorten it an inch to help the clearance probably.

Here are pics with a link below each for the full size

I found a solution with spectre parts. I haven't finished it yet but I'll post pics when it's done. I may use an offset coupling at the throttle body from HPS to get a better finished product.
