Accessory Drive

Postby S10 Imposter » Sun Jul 30, 2017 1:44 pm

I have a 2003 S10 that I am installing a 6.0 into.
It will have a TBSS intake and throttle body and a small cam.
Nothing fancy. Not a race truck, just a good daily driver.
Question is, which accessory drive set up would work best for me?
Corvette, Camaro or Truck ?
Thanks, David

Pretty much says it all unless you have deep pockets for a March system.

2 local S10s have LS swaps. One uses pulleys from a LS1 corvette and the other is a March system if I remember correctly.

What all are you running? AC? power steering?

I am new to the LS scene, always been a Pontiac guy. Sorry for the questions that seem stupid, I just want to do it right the first time.
I will be running ac,and power steering, alternator of course.
My thing is, I am sure most guys run the corvette set up to make room for turbos. Since I am not, I think
the truck set up is right for me. Also easier on the wallet.
Would that be correct??
Thanks, David

No question is too stupid. More questions pop up the more you read, so no worries. Ill text a buddy who did a 5.3 swap and see what he used
