really would love to drive mine down, just gotta get rear shoes changed, new ubolts(one is effy to me after my rear swap).

after that just needs some miles on it to be sure. this truck has just left me sitting too many times to not triple check everything. though it hasnt left me sitting since I swapped in a v8

I'll be there with or without my truck though.

should be there around 10-10:30PM depending on what time we leave here. Might need some help with light setting up the tent.

If everything goes as planned I should get there about the same time. But I think BG is an hour behind eastern time, so it might be 9:30 or 10 there.

I've also decided I'm not taking the truck down the track, with 225k, last thing the motor needs is to see is 5500-6000 rpm shifts, and the 3rd gear grinds pretty bad when shifted over 3krpm, the t5 is going to need a rebuild when I build the motor. I just don't have another daily to drive if something happens. I am still bringing the truck though, but don't need to see a time slip since I already know what it runs.............sllooooooow.

Future mods LS1 front brakes, frame stiffening, camaro 3.4 block with 3400 pistons, ported 3500 top end and undecided on the cam. Want to keep the motor obdII so that will be fun. Also gonna run a camaro t5. After all the kinks are worked out I might screw it up again and add a hair dryer.

Pull the pan and clean the gasket surface and use some right stuff on it, it wont leak anymore. Have done several trans pans with it and never had an issue afterwards.

just swaped the gasket again this time gave a one piece a try still got the dye in it used a blue felpro the one with provisions for both dipsticks which i hate btw.. but anyway put it in and its dry! no leaking bolts! though... there is some small dripping from the rear but pretty sure its not from the pan gasket might be setteling oil from earlier leak or unfortunatly a main or cam plug  next few days will tell if it tapers off or continues but looks like i can now go more than 50 miles without adding 2 quarts lol :boink: if there is a rear main or cam leak its pretty small hopefully "don't worry about fixing it" small but itl still bug the hell outa me
