Rear wheel spacing

Postby wayneb » Thu Dec 28, 2017 2:12 pm

New to the forum!
I have a first gen S10 with a narrowed 8.8 (Short axle on both sides)
I want to get the torq thrust II wheels but back spacing is the question.
I would like to get 15x8’s on the rear but I can only get those in a 4.5” back spacing.
Anybody know if this will work? I haven’t bought tires yet so no issue there.
I found rocker arm monkey's on ebay!

I don't completely know your answer but will put up my experience with my Blazer.
Here is my thread and the last two pages will show my wheel offset. They are comparable to a 7.5 offset but ended up having them custom made for a very certain offset for down the road tires.
My hoist hit me in the head!

Measure from wheel mounting surface to frame and that will tell you how much room you have
