aluminum rim question

Postby cherokeechief79 » Wed Oct 15, 2014 4:24 am

i found a set of rims for my latest project but they had slicks on them.they are drilled for sidewall screws and the air fill has been relocated to the center of the rim so they could use for a tube.
can i use these somehow for radials witout a tube?
the rims are 15x15

If you can put two valve stems in them, or even a nut, bolt, flat washer, and rubber seal, (to seal one of the holes), they should work. Rim screws do not go anywhere into pressurized air, they just hold the bead tight to the rim, and will work with tubes or tubeless. 8)
