tire and wheel setup

Postby Dougc383 » Fri Mar 21, 2014 5:01 pm

This is what I want to do . I would like to put 20 inch rims in the back and 18 inch rims in the front, but with this combo I want the rims to have that deep rim lip. what is a good offset and back spacing for this and a good tire size, the wider the better. Currently my 84 dime has a sbc 383 in it and I want to do a 2-3 drop on it, this is a street truck only but will be setup to be aggressive street

If you want a deep lip then the wheel will stick way out from the bed, unless you narrow the rear axle by a modest amount. Do you have the stock rear end in it now? and do you plan to keep it or change it out?
