Snow !!

Postby idiot » Tue Jul 11, 2017 9:22 am

OK so I was wondering if there are snow tires that actually work on these or would mud tires be better ? I'm running a 94 longbed 2wd with 3.42s and mini spool, and about 375hp with 4l60e. I have stock size snows from when it was 4.3 but they were pretty useless without 500 lbs in the back . Any suggestions ? General grabbers maybe? This is northern MI after all.

This just for street use? Either way a spool on the street isn't too great for snow or even rain.

Around here more dirt than pavement, plus I learned how to drive back in the eighty's steering with the back end if you know what I mean.

Ah I hear ya. Snow tires would be more for road use with snow. Anything offroad i'd go with the more aggressive tires.
