Are any of you running them? I will be because it came with my engine. Are they rare?

Does your motor need 800cfm?

Any numbers stamped on it?

Are there any numbers stamped on it? A street driven motor does not need an 800cfm carb

An 800 CFM Q-jet will work fine on a 350 or bigger motor, not that it needs it though. The flow number is a bit misleading because it's rated differently than a Holley. 8)

It will still be fun to tune compared to a Holley, sell it and get a 650 vac secondary and you will be much happier

I ran one on my 350 for years replaced it with a 750 modified by smi. The 800 has bigger primaries I preferred it to the 750 it stayed in the primaries longer and got better mileage. The cool thing about a quadrajet is its by demand so being over carbed isnt so bad
