93 Blazer CPI question.

Postby jshultz78 » Tue Jun 06, 2017 9:57 pm

On my 93 Blazer, 7 years ago I changed the spider injector and nut kit, had to do it again the other day because the line from the nut kit and one of the poppit lines had rubbed a hole in each other causing a flood-out issue, is there any way to prevent this in the future? can I just zip tie the two lines that touch tightly together so there won't be any vibration and rubbing against one another? Or maybe wrap something around each line so it won't rub?

Oh man don't get me started on the lovely CPI. I know there was a "problem solver" injector that was a little better designed. Been so long I don't remember the brand.

I'm very close to putting the tbi setup off my old 4.3 on it. Granted I'll lose 5hp but it would be problem free. Soon as I can find a 6.0 it'll get a swap too
